On 31 March 2017, the University of Warsaw hosted the conference entitled “Shaping the Future of Dispute Resolution & Improving Access to Justice".

Dr Beata Gessel-Kalinowska vel Kalisz, senior partner of GESSEL, took part in one of the panel debates, discussing “How the market presently meets the needs and expectations of the parties associated with access to justice and to the dispute resolution system”.

The organisers and partners of this GPC Warsaw event included the Dispute and Conflict Resolution Centre of the Faculty of Law and Administration at Warsaw University, the Polish Arbitration Association, the Business Mediation Centre of the National Chamber of Attorneys, the Mediation Centre of the Chief Council of Advocates, the Lewiatan Mediation Centre, and the Partners Polska Mediation Centre, with the collaboration of the Ministry of Development and the Ministry of Justice.
