GESSEL has a team of practitioners specialising in the various rights, claims and counterclaims arising in the context of employment relationships. We advise employees as well as employers, be they natural persons or legal entities.
Employment law provides a basic standard for defining duties and responsibilities of a company and of its employees. Applied at the level of individual employment contracts, these standards must be translated into specific provisions concordant with the spirit of the contract and providing for an equitable distribution of mutual rights and obligations. GESSEL has accumulated a long track record advising on the legal aspects of the employment relationship. We can confirm in practice that a carefully drafted, multi-faceted employment contract motivates employees and provides a solid foundation for successful operations and for the long-term satisfaction of employers and employees alike.
MANAGEMENT CONTRACTS, COLLECTIVE BARGAINING
We prepare general standard form contracts for companies as well as made-to-measure management contracts, replete with non-compete clauses. We represent our Clients in disputes, negotiations, and mediation. In other words, while we know how to mitigate the risk of disputes in employment relations, if problems do arise, we are also adept at solving conflicts.
We generally advise on Polish law, but we are also conversant in employment law in its international aspects. Quite apart from that, drawing upon the expertise of GESSEL’s German Desk, we are in a position to offer advice on German law.
