GESSEL advised CenterMed on the acquisition of holsäMED

GESSEL advised CenterMed, a Polish healthcare group operating a nationwide network of outpatient clinics and medical facilities, on the acquisition of 100% of shares in HOLSAMED sp. z o.o., the operator of multidisciplinary medical centres trading under the holsäMED brand in Katowice.

holsäMED operates in Katowice and works with a team of several dozen doctors across a broad range of specialties. It provides healthcare services both on a private-pay basis and under contracts with Poland’s National Health Fund. Its offering includes primary care, specialist outpatient care, diagnostic imaging and medical rehabilitation.

The acquisition forms part of CenterMed’s strategy to develop an integrated medical services platform. It strengthens the group’s presence in the Silesian region and broadens its healthcare offering.

GESSEL advised CenterMed on all legal aspects of the transaction, including legal due diligence, transaction structuring, the drafting and negotiation of the transaction documentation, and healthcare regulatory matters.
