GESSEL advised CenterMed, a Polish medical group developing a network of healthcare facilities, on the acquisition of NZOZ Partner sp. z o.o., a healthcare services provider operating in Kielce. The transaction involved the acquisition of three medical facilities providing primary healthcare, outpatient specialist care and medical rehabilitation services.

For more than 20 years, NZOZ Partner has provided healthcare services in the local market. The facilities operate in a number of specialist areas, including paediatric pulmonology, neonatology, diabetology, otolaryngology, nephrology, endocrinology and cardiology. The transaction forms part of CenterMed’s strategy to further develop an integrated healthcare services platform and continue the consolidation of the healthcare market in Poland. The combination of the parties’ operations is expected to increase access to and the quality of healthcare services in the regional market.

GESSEL provided comprehensive legal advice to CenterMed throughout the transaction.

“The consolidation of the healthcare market increasingly involves specialised outpatient providers and medical facilities of significant regional importance. Projects of this kind require an effective combination of transactional expertise, regulatory knowledge and efficient transaction management. We are pleased to have supported CenterMed in another strategic growth project,” said Marcin Macieszczak, Managing Partner at GESSEL.
