GESSEL advised Sescom S.A., a European provider of facility management and specialised technical services operating in over 25 countries across Europe, on the acquisition of a majority stake in the Dutch company IM Duurzaam B.V., which specialises in design and delivery of integrated climate, electrical, and sustainable building technology solutions. The transaction was completed on 22 January 2026, and its value has not been disclosed.

The acquisition of IM Duurzaam represents Sescom Group’s first step into the Benelux region, true to the broader strategy of building a pan-European facility management and technical services integrator, combining strong operational capabilities with modern technological solutions. The transaction strengthens the Group’s local operational presence in Western Europe and complements earlier acquisitions, including the UK-based PCB Technical Solutions. The transaction was completed with the support of Enterprise Investors, Sescom’s financial investor.

“Entering the Dutch market through the acquisition of IM Duurzaam is an important milestone in further development of the Sescom Group. It is a mature and attractive market offering real opportunities for scaling our operations. Cooperation with the GESSEL team ensured the efficient execution of a complex, multi-jurisdictional transaction process,” said Marek Kwiatkowski, CEO of Sescom.

“The transaction required a precise approach, close international coordination and intensive negotiations conducted over many months. We are pleased to have been able to effectively support our long-standing Client in the next stage of its international expansion and entry into a new market,” said Maciej Kożuchowski, Partner at GESSEL.

GESSEL cooperated with the Dutch law firm Van Campen Liem.
