GESSEL provided legal support to PGB Holdco in its sale of a 100% stake in Polska Grupa Biogazowa S.A., a leading Polish producer of biogas-based electricity, to the French group TotalEnergies.
The complex structure of the transaction encompassed simultaneous buy-back of Polskie Grupy Biogazowa S.A. shares from its other shareholder. We are proud to note that this is not our first time advising PBG; in 2019, GESSEL supported the company in its search for a financial partner for construction of a biogas facility.
