A business breakfast hosted by Sunfish Partners and GESSEL

13.04.2018 News

On 11 April, Sunfish Partners and GESSEL hosted a business breakfast, kicking off a project geared at drawing up a model set of venture capital transaction documentation.

The topics discussed included lack of unified standards for VC transactions and of statues dedicated to the start-up ecosystem in Poland, the general premises of the project (and the scope of model documents to be prepared in its course), the benefits promised by the project, etc. The meeting was chaired by Max Moldenhauer, Senior Partner at Sunfish Partners and by Michał Bochowicz, Managing Associate at GESSEL.

By way of this project, we hope to involve the venture capital community – Polish and foreign investors, start-ups, business organisations, state development institutions, and the legal community – in work on a set of model documents for an archetypical VC transaction, with due heed for the interests of the parties, requirements associated with public funding, for applicable legal limitations, and for pertinent international standards.

If you are interested in contributing to the project, please feel free to approach us at m.bochowicz@gessel.pl.
