Beata Gessel-Kalinowska vel Kalisz as moderator during the V Private Equity Forum

The fifth iteration of the Private Equity Forum conference was held in Warsaw on June 3. The topics debated by the attending experts and representatives of private equity funds included the potential of Poland as compared with markets with more developed traditions of cooperation with PE funds and the role of PE funds in development of an innovative economy.

During the conference, Beata Gessel-Kalinowska vel Kalisz moderated the panel entitled “Private equity as a pathway to an innovative economy”, whose participants considered issues such as:

  • The role of PE funds in development of innovative economies around the world;
  • Means of implementing innovations, investment strategies: how to build a modern company with the support of private equity;
  • Breakthrough innovations: development of new products and technologies using PE financing;
  • The investor and the entrepreneur – collaboration towards growth, credibility and prestige.

The conference was culminated with a gala event during which the best entities active in Poland’s PE sector received Private Equity Diamond awards (this was the third time that these accolades were awarded).
