Beata Gessel-Kalinowska vel Kalisz, DSc joins the 2nd edition of the SCC EAST-WEST FORUM

On September 10, Beata Gessel-Kalinowska vel Kalisz, DSc will take part in the 2nd edition of the SCC East-West Forum. The event, organised by the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, is dedicated to arbitration in Poland and in the Baltic countries of Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia.

Prof. Gessel joined Daiga Zivtiņa of Ellex Klavins (Riga), Ramūnas Audzevičius of Motieka & Audzevičius (Vilnius), and Maria Pihlak of Sorainen (Tallinn) in a panel entitled “Arbitration in the region – A practitioner’s perspective” moderated by Fredrik Ringquist of Mannheimer Swartling (Stockholm). Apart from sharing current developments in their respective jurisdictions, the panellists provided valuable insights into the work of international arbitrators.
