Beata Gessel-Kalinowska vel Kalisz opens the VI Belgrade Arbitration Conference

The VI Belgrade Arbitration Conference was held on 4 April at the University of Belgrade’s Faculty of Law. The event was part of the INTERNATIONAL COMMERCIAL ARBITRATION PRE-MOOT programme (VII Belgrade Open Pre-Moot).

Dr Beata Gessel-Kalinowska vel Kalisz, speaking on behalf of the international organisation ArbitralWomen, opened the conference with her lecture entitled “ArbitralWomen, ArbitralMen… ArbitralPeople”.

Dr Gessel then took part in the “Round Table on the Code of Ethics” debate, joining members of the academic community and of arbitration organisations from Albania, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia. In its course, she presented an overview of arbitration in Poland, including the main arbitration institutions.
