Beata Gessel-Kalinowska vel Kalisz’s PhD thesis published in book form

Beata Gessel’s PhD thesis entitled Legal Character of Representations and Warranties in a Limited Liability Company Share Purchase Agreement (in Light of the Freedom of Contract Principle) has been published in book form in Wolters Kluwer’s Business Law Library series.

According to the cover blurb, “(…) it will not be an exaggeration to venture that this is basically a pioneering work, one whose significance – from the perspective of legal studies as well as of actual practice – would be difficult to overestimate. It must also be mentioned (…) that this work has a universal dimension in that the comments set out on its pages largely retain their pertinence also with respect to dealing in shares of joint-stock companies”.
