Bernadeta Kasztelan-Świetlik as speaker at the UOKiK anniversary conference

The lecture by Bernadeta Kasztelan-Świetlik entitled Damages for breach of competition law – a fight for an ideal, or for real-terms compensation ? will be given on 5 November as part of the Poznań conference entitled Competition law – For, or against business ?, the last in a series marking the 20^th anniversary of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection ( UOKiK), the Polish antitrust authority.

The conference will deal with issues concerning participation of business enterprises in antimonopoly proceedings, standards of evidence, and evidentiary procedure. The debate is also expected to touch upon liability of business enterprises for breach of competition law and the possibilities offered by the procedures now in force.

The conference is organised by UOKiK in cooperation with the Faculty of Law and Administration at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.
