Bernadeta Kasztelan-Świetlik to participate in the international conference on Judicial Deference in Competition Law

On 11 October 2018, Bernadeta Kasztelan-Świetlik chaired the panel on “Institutional Structure of Competition Authority and the Intensity of Judicial Review” during the “Judicial Deference in Competition Law” conference organised by CARS – the Centre for Antitrust and Regulatory Studies at the University of Warsaw’s Faculty of Management. The aim of this conference was to explore how decisions issued by specialised administrative bodies are, and should, be reviewed by the general courts.

The participants included specialists in EU administrative law and competition law from academia, the judiciary, and antitrust authorities, including Paul Craig, Rob Widdershoven, Heike Schweitzer, Ioannis Lianos, Renato Nazzini and Spencer Waller.

The event was held on the main campus of the University of Warsaw at ul. Krakowskie Przedmieście 32.
