Dorota Bryndal, partner in GESSEL and specialist in the area of copyright law, will speak at the conference devoted to recent amendments of the Polish copyright law organised by Cooper Conferences on 3-4 February 2009.

Dorota Bryndal’s presentation will be entitled “Fair Use – What May We Use, and How, Without Agreement”. It will include a discussion of security for the interests of the author, fair use in the private and public spheres, limitations on the dissemination of works, and of anticipated future developments concerning the institution of fair use.

The conference will also encompass a discussion of legal duties under Polish copyright law, the system of collective copyright management organisations, legal protection of computer software, and the future of copyright law.
