Dr Beata Gessel-Kalinowska vel Kalisz joins the Roundtable on Collective Redress

Dr Beata Gessel-Kalinowska vel Kalisz, managing partner in GESSEL, took part in the Roundtable on Collective Redress debate (held in Brussels on 14 April 2010) focused on alternative dispute resolution methods in consumer disputes. Participants in the debate included representatives of the European Commission, MEPs, and representatives of the Businesseurope organisation.

The discussion presented amicable means of resolving business disputes and mediation as an alternative to adversarial court proceedings, specifically in the context of unfair competition cases.
