Dr Beata Gessel-Kalinowska vel Kalisz – was a speaker during the 5th Annual GAR Live Frankfurt conference held on 12 June 2018 in Frankfurt

Dr Gessel was invited to participate in the opening session “The new DIS rules – is the revision courageous enough?”, which discussed the new DIS Rules. German Arbitration Institute (DIS) is the leading arbitration institution in Germany. The new Rules introduced in March 2018 changed the regulations which had been in use for the last 20 years. Thus the DIS followed the steps of other leading European arbitration centers, amending their rules to offer more effective, transparent and  flexible tools for dispute resolution in order to meet the demand of the arbitration users and community.
