Dr. Konrad Czech joins a panel during the 11th edition of the Legal Department Managers Forum

On 19 and 20 September 2018, the Hotel Polonia Palace hosted the 11^th edition of the Legal Department Managers Forum, a major annual event for in-house counsel.

In its successive iterations, the Forum brings together specialists in various legal fields practicing at law firms and within business enterprises, affording them an opportunity to compare notes and to explore recent changes to the law. The various presentations adhere to a practical formula, discussing not only the theoretical aspects, but also case studies.

The second day of the forum featured a presentation by Dr. Konrad Czech, speaking at the invitation of the Arbitration Court of the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw during the panel entitled “On the possibilities of institutional arbitration – An alternative take on commercial arbitration”. Dr. Czech, with GESSEL since January 2018, specialises in commercial and investment arbitration and disposes of in-depth experience acquired at an international arbitration group, at a leading a law firm, at a German boutique operation specialising in arbitration, and at the Office of General Counsel to the Republic of Poland.
