GESSEL acted as legal counsel to Luneos Green Energy on the acquisition of a PV farm project

GESSEL provided comprehensive legal support to Luneos Green Energy sp. z o.o. on its acquisition of a 19 MW photovoltaic farm project. This transaction is part of LGE’s investment strategy envisaging allocation of approximately PLN 3 billion to acquisition, development, construction, and operation of a portfolio of renewable energy assets with a capacity of approximately 1 GW.

Our support included, in particular, legal advice to LGE in negotiation of the transaction documentation as well as coordination of the closing. The project was led by Karol Sokół, partner  and Michał Osowski, managing associate, with participation of Iwona Gielo-Benza, associate and Paweł Plisko, junior associate.
