GESSEL advised Sunfish Partners on the investment in Molecule One

We are pleased to announce that GESSEL was a legal counsel to the venture capital fund Sunfish Partners  in their seed founding round for Molecule One (https://molecule.one/), a start up, which develops AI-powered chemical synthesis design.

GESSEL’s support included comprehensive legal services, including preparation and negotiation of an investment agreement, corporate and technical documents and the closing.

GESSEL team working on this project has been led by Michał Bochowicz, advocate, managing associate and Weronika Zdeb, advocate, senior associate, supported by Katarzyna Matyszewska, trainee attorney. Marcin Macieszczak, managing partner, attorney at law has supervised the transaction.

Sunfish Partners, based in Berlin and Warsaw, is one of the few German venture capital funds active in the Polish start-up market. Sunfish Partners aims to cooperate with start-up founders with strong data science and engineering backgrounds who use new technologies to approach existing sectors in new ways or to build sectors of the future. Sunfish Partners has attracted a large number of Polish and international entrepreneurs and investors.
