GESSEL advises Avallon Sp. z o.o. on acquisition of a stake in EBS Sp. z o.o.

GESSEL acted as counsel to the private equity fund Avallon Sp. z o.o. on its purchase of a 70% stake in EBS Sp. z o.o.

EBS is an independent Polish producer of security systems; in 2016, it posted revenues of approximately PLN 60 million.

GESSEL provided a comprehensive range of legal services, including in particular devising the transaction structure, due diligence, and drafting of the transaction documentation.

Apart from EBS, the investment portfolio of Avallon includes companies such as Wosana, a producer of juices and water; Novo Tech, a plastics producer; Zaberd, which builds and maintains road infrastructure; Ceko, a cheese producer; Velvet Care, producer of personal hygiene products; and EDC Expert Direct Communication, a major personalised marketing player in Central and Eastern Europe.
