GESSEL advises Columbus Energy S.A. on purchase of shares in 27 SPVs holding rights in solar power farm designs
We are pleased to announce that GESSEL supported Columbus Energy S.A., a leading Polish supplier of modern energy solutions, in the transaction for purchase of 100% stakes in 27 special purpose vehicles working on no less than 87 solar power farms with an aggregate power at the level of 184 MWp, hereuntil held by Claritas. The transaction was structured in four stages, and the aggregate offer value was EUR 37,830,000.00.
GESSEL lawyers – led by Karol Sokół, managing associate and Diana Strzałkowska, associate – were involved in negotiations and in drafting the transaction documentation at each successive stage. Overall responsibility on GESSEL’s part rested with Małgorzata Badowska, partner.
Columbus Energy S.A. is the most frequently chosen supplier of photovoltaic microsystems in Poland. The company also offers energy storage solutions and heat pumps as well as investing in electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
