GESSEL advises Finch Capital on extension of financing to PerfOps
15.10.2018 News
GESSEL provided wide-ranging legal support to Finch Capital, the venture capital firm from Amsterdam, and to Sunfish Partners, Berlin-based fund in the first round of financing for PerfOps, a Krakow IT start-up. The funds thus made available to PerfOps will be applied towards development of software for global testing of IT infrastructure.
The resources secured at this stage of the investment will be used to fine-tune a cloud-based traffic management system, slated for launch in the coming months. This is Finch Capital’s first investment in Poland.
GESSEL’s input included preparation of the transaction and technical documentation, negotiations and support at closing. Our legal team was led by Małgorzata Badowska, partner, supported by Michał Bochowicz, managing associate and by Weronika Zdeb, trainee advocate.
PerfOps is a Polish programming outfit specialising in early-stage analytical solutions for the internet infrastructure sector, including development of complex analytical platforms for monitoring dispersed network applications and collating data for competition analysis, troubleshooting and identification of bottlenecks.
Finch Capital is a venture capital fund investing in innovative fintech companies in Europe and South-East Asia. Finch Capital is a minority shareholder concentrating on the early stages of financing fintech projects.
