GESSEL advises NOVA POLONIA PEF and FMO

The M&A team of GESSEL headed by Marcin Macieszczak has provided legal advice to the Nova Polonia Private Equity Fund LLC and the FMO (Nederlandse Financierings-Maatschappij voor Ontwikkelingslanden) fund, with Krokus PE as investment advisor, with respect to the transaction for sale of 84% of the shares in Centrum Filmowe Helios S.A. to the Agora S.A. holding company.

CF Helios S.A. operates, directly and through its subsidiary Kinoplex, a network of multi-screen cinemas across Poland, maintaining a share of approximately 24% in the Polish multiplex market. The final share purchase agreement was executed on 31 August 2010; the transaction value is EUR 26,200,128.24.
