GESSEL advises on a transaction as a result of which JARS S.A. joined the GBA Group

GESSEL provided comprehensive legal support to JARS S.A. in the process of its accession to the GBA Group. Thanks to this transaction, the latter is now primed to expand into Central and Eastern Europe, which continues to be a market with great potential.

Our lawyers prepared JARS S.A. for the transaction and supported its shareholders and governing bodies at all stages of the project, especially in negotiation of the contracts.

JARS S.A. was first established in 2000 in Łajski by Warsaw as a food safety consultancy and has since progressed to a varied portfolio of services which include, among others, an accredited laboratory offering chemical and biological analyses of foodstuffs and cosmetics.

The beginnings of the GBA Group go back to 1989; it now comprises a network of providers of laboratory services in the fields of foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals, and environmental protection, combining scientific and technical expertise with a client-focused approach.
