GESSEL supported Polish Enterprise Fund VII on all successive stages of the transaction, including due diligence, tax analysis, preparation of the transaction structure and documentation, and proceedings before the Office of Competition Consumer and Protection.

The transaction still requires antimonopoly clearance.

Jantoń specialises in production of beverages with an alcohol content of up to 22% by volume. In 2016, its strong management team led it to achieve revenue of PLN 170 million. Jantoń’s products are sold under almost 20 brands, the most recognisable of which include Kadarka Prestige, Zbójeckie Grzane and Cydr Dobroński. The Jantoń product assortment is available in all modern retail sales channels, including discount networks. Its state-of-the-art production facility and central warehouse are located in Dobroń by Łódź.
