GESSEL was recognised as a leader in six categories in the 23rd edition of the Rzeczpospolita Ranking of Law Firms, including – for the first time – in the Real Estate and Banking and Finance categories. GESSEL lawyers received a total of six individual recognitions. This year’s edition of the ranking, compiled by the editorial team of the Rzeczpospolita daily in cooperation with a panel of legal market experts, reaffirmed GESSEL’s position as one of Poland’s leading legal advisors on business transactions.
The ranking’s authors analysed over three hundred law firms from across the country, evaluating the legal teams as a whole and the individual achievements of lawyers. GESSEL was named as a leader in the following areas: Real Estate, Banking and Finance, Corporate, Commercial and M&A, Competition and Antitrust, Private Equity and Capital Markets and Regulatory Advice.
The list of individually recognised lawyers runs as follows:
- Małgorzata Badowska – recommended lawyer in Banking and Finance (debut)
- Maciej Boryczko – leader in Real Estate (debut)
- Bernadeta Kasztelan-Świetlik – leader in Competition and Antitrust (promotion)
- Leszek Koziorowski – leader in Capital Markets and Regulatory Advice
- Marcin Macieszczak – leader in Private Equity and recommended lawyer in Corporate, Commercial and M&A
“We are pleased that our Real Estate and Banking and Finance practices were included in the ranking for the first time this year – and with individual distinctions, no less. This is the result of the long-term commitment of the teams developing these areas, my sincere congratulations to them”, said Marcin Macieszczak, Managing Partner at GESSEL.
This year’s results reaffirm that GESSEL’s consistent investment in specialised expertise and building trusting relationships with clients delivers lasting results. The firm remains focused on providing legal solutions that effectively support clients’ business goals while maintaining the highest substantive and organisational standards.
