GESSEL as a member of ICC Polska

On 24 May 2010, the Board of ICC Polska voted to accept the GESSEL law firm as a supporting member of the Polish National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce. Dr Beata Gessel, the firm’s managing partner, became an ordinary member of ICC Polska.

The ICC, founded in 1919, is a non-governmental organisation assembling business enterprises and industrial and commercial chambers from over 130 countries. It has consultative status with the United Nations, and it is the preferred partner of international as well as regional business organisations. Working through its codification committees, the ICC draws up unified international rules for business enterprises; it also operates the largest international arbitration tribunal for business cases. Its Polish National Committee was established in 2000.
