GESSEL as advisor to Highlander Partners on the take-over of Druk-Pak

Highlander Partners, working through one of its portfolio companies – AKOMEX, signed an agreement for purchase of DRUK-PAK, a company listed on Warsaw’s NewConnect exchange which is one of Poland’s leading producers of cardboard packaging.

Kujawskie Zakłady Poligraficzne DRUK-PAK S.A. has been in operation for 40 years, producing cardboard packaging, information leaflets, and labels, first and foremost for the pharmaceutical sector but also for customers from the foodstuffs and technical industries.

AKOMEX , established in Starogard Gdański in 1993, is a producer of solid and corrugated cardboard packaging, mainly for the foodstuffs and cosmetics industries. It was included in the Highlander Partners portfolio of companies in 2010. The combination of the two companies resulting from this transaction will produce one of Poland’s leading producers of packaging for the consumer sector.
