GESSEL is once again joining the Polish Association of Listed Companies (SEG) in organisation of the Congress of Listed Companies Lawyers; the tenth iteration of this event will be held on 5-6 March 2018 at the Hotel Warszawianka Congress Centre in Jachranka.

The first day of the event will feature two thematic blocs. One will focus on legal risks for issuers and for their individual directors and on new regulations. The other, meanwhile, will be devoted to employee capital plans and will feature a panel entitled “Employee capital plans at a publicly listed company – Introduction, duties of the company” led by the GESSEL professionals Leszek Koziorowski, partner and Adam Kraszewski, managing associate.

In what has become a much-anticipated fixture of successive editions of the Congress, participants will be invited to attend a simulated General Meeting of the hypothetical XYZ plc., with Leszek Koziorowski as one of the participants.

The second day of the Congress will feature thematic workshops on legal issues. GESSEL’s Julia Trzmielewska, associate and Michał Szutenbach, senior associate will discuss expedient and inexpensive avenues for raising capital for public companies without producing an issue prospectus opened by the new regulation coming into force in July 2019.

The conference programme is available (in Polish) here.
