GESSEL hosts a seminar devoted to the split payment mechanism

On 28 March, GESSEL hosted a training event devoted to the split payment VAT mechanism, a relative novelty in Polish business law. The event, co-organised with Moore Stephens Central Audit, was addressed, in the first order of sequence, to members of the DAFA Association of Flat Roof and Facade Contractors.

The substantive part of the meeting was led by Marek Korzeniewski, attorney, head of the tax department at Moore Stephens Central Audit, ably supported for GESSEL’s part by Michał Boryczka, managing associate.  

The first of the two panels presented a general overview of the split payment mechanism and covered the most frequently asked questions. The second panel proceeded to practical aspects from the perspective of the taxpayer. The proceedings concluded with a summary and a Q-and-A session.
