GESSEL in Solidarity with Ukraine

Russia’s aggression against Ukraine has redefined our lives. In just one day, the existence and priorities of the Ukrainian people changed. Ours, too. We have decided to take an active stance to support our Neighbors!

As a law firm, we have contributed to the war fund of the Ukrainian Army and the Convoy of Life fundraiser organized by one of our befriended Ukrainian lawyers. The raised funds will be used to help refugees from Ukraine and to purchase equipment for the Ukrainian army. We are also financing accommodation for refugees in hotels near Warsaw.

We have offered work in the law firm for two Ukrainian lawyers who have escaped from the hostilities.

As for the formal aspects of our activities, we also reviewed our clients list.  We do not  serve any Russian or Belarusian legal entities, nor those whose capital is controlled by other companies or persons from these countries.

Many of our lawyers have opened up their homes to refugees, and they are also helping them in legal and administrative matters.
