The third edition of the conference Work 4.0 "People - Technology - Law. Ideas and solutions" will be held on 19-20 November, providing an opportunity for decision makers and practitioners to discuss the dynamic changes affecting the modern labour market and the ways of preparing for them, and also preparation and education of workers for shifting realities and economic conditions. The specific topics raised included the need of a new assessment of state-run Labour Offices and the need for greater flexibility in the laws governing employment. The programme envisages plenary sessions, presentations by human resource management experts, workshops and training events as well as sundry meetings.

One of the workshops during the second day, “GDPR in the context of hiring”, will be led by a team of GESSEL lawyers composed of Dorota BryndalAdam Kraszewski and Marcin Maciejak, who will cover issues such as:
  • Information duties;
  • Monitoring at the workplace;
  • Forwarding of employee data to outside entities;
  • Challenges for 2019 – digitisation of employee files.

We do hope that you can join us at this event !
