GESSEL named Law Firm of the Year in the Private Equity Diamonds competition!

We are proud to announce that GESSEL has won the Private Equity Diamonds competition in the Law Firm of the Year category.

The Private Equity Diamond awards are bestowed by the Executive Club and the Polish Private Equity and Venture Capital Association to individuals and to companies active in the private equity community who stood out in 2016 on account of their substantive knowledge, business effectiveness and innovation.

This award marks a significant success for our firm which, for almost 25 years, has made private equity transactions a core area of our practice – a fact which has hereby been recognised by the entire sector !

Apart from that, the transactions noted in the VE Exit of the Year category of the Private Equity Diamonds competition include the exit by Enterprise Investors from its investment in PBKM via an IPO on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, with legal support provided by GESSEL’s capital markets team under the leadership of Krzysztof Marczuk, partner !
