GESSEL as legal advisor to Sphinx

The Sphinx network of Arabic-themed restaurants operated by Sfinks Polska has taken over the Chłopskie Jadło chain in a transaction involving the M&A team of GESSEL led by Beata Gessel, managing partner as legal advisors. Sfinks paid PLN 27 million for the restaurants and for the Chłopskie Jadło trademark.

Sphinx, a rapidly expanding restaurant chain owned by Sfinks Polska, has taken over the network of seven Chłopskie Jadło outlets serving traditional Polish cuisine. GESSEL’s M&A team led by Beata Gessel, managing partner, acted as legal advisors. Sfinks paid PLN 27 million for the restaurants and for the Chłopskie Jadło trademark, drawing upon credit facilities made available by banks and upon its own funds..
