GESSEL ranks 3rd in Poland by M&A deal count in 2025 according to Mergermarket

The Mergermarket Legal Advisors League Tables based on data as at 12 January 2026 put GESSEL in 3rd place for Poland by the number of mergers and acquisitions transactions in 2025. The ranking covers legal advisers active on the Polish M&A market and confirms GESSEL’s position among the most active transactional law firms in the country.

The firm’s league table position reflects its ability to handle a high volume of complex transactions in a consistent and disciplined manner, often under significant time pressure. In 2025, GESSEL advised on a broad range of M&A matters for private equity funds, strategic investors, public companies and private entrepreneurs, covering acquisitions, divestments, equity investments, consolidation processes and exit transactions.

The 2025 league tables include 23 publicly disclosed M&A transactions advised on by GESSEL. In addition, the firm was involved in further mandates that were not publicly announced and, therefore, are not reflected in the ranking.
