Marcin Macieszczak heads GESSEL’s Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and Private Equity practices. He has led transaction teams in more than 100 M&A and private equity transactions, advising both sell-side and buy-side clients in some of the most complex investment and capital market processes. He advises clients on key ownership and investment decisions, combining extensive legal expertise with a deep understanding of business realities and market expectations.

His legal practice focuses on corporate advice for publicly listed companies, public issues of shares and bonds, mergers and acquisitions of commercial companies, and formation and operation of brokerage houses and investment funds. He has successfully advised on numerous corporate disputes. He is a specialist in corporate relations in public companies and the functioning of governing bodies at public companies as well as in the communication of public companies with the market, including the performance of disclosure obligations.

Michał Bochowicz is a partner at GESSEL and a leader in its top-ranked Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) practice. He manages complex M&A and private equity projects, representing Polish and international clients in transactions of strategic importance to their growth.

An expert in competition and consumer law with extensive experience in both the private and public sectors. She was associated with the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) for 13 years, serving as Vice President from 2014 to 2017, where she oversaw the work of three key departments: Concentration Control, Competition Protection, and Legal. Privately, she is passionate about amateur theatre – directing and performing in productions – as well as literature, gardening, and playing the piano.

Joanna specializes in arbitration and litigation, acting as counsel and arbitrator. Her practice includes disputes in the broad field of business law, including international trade and M&A transactions.

He advises public companies, selling shareholders, investors, investment companies and investment banks in various types of capital market transactions, including regulatory aspects.

Dominika specialises in tax law and heads the tax law department at GESSEL. She advises businesses on income tax, international taxation, VAT and civil law transaction tax. She advises on tax planning, business restructuring and tax due diligence projects, and represents clients in tax and court proceedings.

Heads both GESSEL's special projects department and the firm's litigation and bankruptcy and restructuring departments. Works according to the principle that "the success of actions taken is measured by the amount of time devoted to them."

Karol has extensive experience advising on asset and share transactions, restructuring transactions and financial matters. Has advised on a number of high-profile transactions for buyers and sellers in various industries, including IT, manufacturing, retail and real estate. Has also worked with banks, private equity and venture capital funds. Joined GESSEL in 2010.

He advises companies in the processes of obtaining financing (especially in the form of public securities offerings) as well as in investment processes.
