GESSEL has been recognised in 11 practice areas in the 24th edition of the Rzeczpospolita Law Firm Ranking, achieving its strongest result to date. The firm secured two top-tier rankings and nine second-tier rankings, while its lawyers received seven individual recognitions, including four Leader distinctions.

Compared to the previous edition, the number of ranked practice areas increased from six to eleven, while GESSEL maintained recognition in all categories awarded in 2025. The firm was also recognised among the law firms advising on one of the three most significant Technology & Innovation transactions of 2025 – cyber_Folks’ acquisition of a controlling stake in Shoper.

The firm also improved its position in the “Law Firms by Number of Lawyers” ranking, moving from 20th place in 2025 to 19th place in 2026, while increasing the size of its legal team from 90 to 92 lawyers.

“These results are particularly rewarding because they reflect not only the strength of the practice areas for which GESSEL has long been recognised, but also the successful development of new specialisations. Expanding the number of recognised practice areas from six to eleven and seeing a transaction on which we advised recognised among the most significant Technology & Innovation projects of the year confirm that we continue to build a firm capable of addressing an increasingly broad range of client needs. We are grateful to our clients for their trust and to our entire team for the work that made these results possible,” said Marcin Macieszczak, Managing Partner of GESSEL.

The Rzeczpospolita Law Firm Ranking is one of the most recognised legal market rankings in Poland, assessing both law firms and individual lawyers across a broad range of practice areas.
