Karolina Krzal and Marcin Maciejak to lead a panel entitled “Implementation of an effective compliance system at an organisation” during a conference organised by MMC Polska

The MMC Polska event entitled “Impact of compliance management on operations of State Treasury companies” will be held on 19-20 November 2018.

“Implementation of an effective compliance system at an organisation”, the first panel of the conference starting at 9:00 on 19 November, will be led by Karolina Krzal and Marcin Maciejak of GESSEL, who will speak about:

• What compliance is, and why implementation of a compliance system is beneficial for an organisation
• Role, involvement and liability of Management Board members in establishment of compliance systems
• Typical compliance areas – what they are, and why they are important
• Integration of a compliance unit within the broader corporate structure
• Creation of compliance procedures and policies
• Ensuring cohesion in the context of cooperation with the corporate group and with outside entities
