In the context of dynamic growth of our firm, GESSEL is happy to announce that Natalia Jodłowska (attorney in the arbitration team led by Dr. Beata Gessel-Kalinowska vel Kalisz) as well as Karol Sokół and Michał Bochowicz (advocates, members of the M&A, banking and finance team led by Małgorzata Badowska) have just become managing associates.

Natalia Jodłowska specialises in arbitration and litigation in the fields of commercial law and civil law as well as tax and administrative proceedings. She represents Polish and foreign entities in domestic and international arbitration proceedings, in proceedings before the general and administrative courts, and before public administration bodies. Served as administrative secretary of arbitration tribunals in Polish and international arbitration proceedings. With GESSEL since 2012.

Karol Sokół specialises in M&A transactions in the private and public markets, in financing and refinancing transactions (including restructuring projects), and in investment funds. With GESSEL since 2010. In 2017, Karol advised on, among other deals, sale of shares in Profim sp. z o.o. to a fund managed by Innova Capital and on sale of shares in Fabryka Pił i Narzędzi Wapienica sp. z o.o. (along with the “Globus” trademark) by Rawlplug S.A. 

Michał Bochowicz likewise specialises in M&A transactions in the public and private markets, including privatisations – with especial focus on work for private equity and venture capital funds. Advised on the buyer and seller sides at all stages of multi-million transactions – also international ones – including planning of the transaction structure, drafting of the transaction documents, financing, negotiations, and closing. Many of his clients hail from the finance, aviation, and new technologies sectors. Michał’s experience with start-ups and venture capital firms augments the GESSEL Tech team. With GESSEL since 2015. In 2017, Michał lent his expertise, among others, to the owners of the Avia Prime group in the context of the investment by the Hartenberg Holding fund, to the owners of Inelo and OCRK in their sale of shares to Innova Capital, to the Przelewy24 group on its new alliance with Currency One S.A., and to Bank BGŻ BNP Paribas on an Equity Investments Office project.
