In the context of dynamic growth of our firm, GESSEL is happy to announce that Natalia Jodłowska (attorney in the arbitration team led by Dr. Beata Gessel-Kalinowska vel Kalisz) as well as Karol Sokół and Michał Bochowicz (advocates, members of the M&A, banking and finance team led by Małgorzata Badowska) have just become managing associates.

Natalia Jodłowska specialises in arbitration and litigation in the fields of commercial law and civil law as well as tax and administrative proceedings. She represents Polish and foreign entities in domestic and international arbitration proceedings, in proceedings before the general and administrative courts, and before public administration bodies. Served as administrative secretary of arbitration tribunals in Polish and international arbitration proceedings. With GESSEL since 2012.

“Natalia is a rising star in arbitration. Arbitration isn’t just about knowledge (of the sort which any lawyer is expected to have) or about thinking outside the box (as expected of everyone here at GESSEL), but also about a collegial approach and a sense of humour, a healthy distance to oneself and to others, erudition, devotion to the job, and ingeniousness. GESSEL Arbitration Wall, the popular arbitration app, is Natalia’s brainchild.”

“I am very happy to witness the promotion of two extremely talented lawyers, as Michał and Karol are, especially seeing as I have had the good fortune of closely cooperating with them on an everyday basis. Each one of them has a slightly different personality, but both are very professional, and they are bound to be successful as transaction team leaders. It is my firm belief that their promotion will be beneficial to further growth of our team and of GESSEL as a whole.”

“Natalia, Karol and Michał are excellent lawyers who demonstrate not only great legal skills, but also a high level of managerial competence, as testified to by their ease of interaction with the team and their effective piloting, from A all the way to Z, of complex, multi-faceted projects whose difficulty results not only from their legal aspect, but also from the business element.
