Report of the IBA Subcommittee on Recognition and Enforcement of Awards with a chapter on Poland nominated for the GAR AWARDS 2016

We are proud to announce that the report drawn up by the IBA Subcommittee on Recognition and Enforcement of Awards under Pascal Hollander concentrating on “Recognition and Enforcement of Arbitral Awards – study on public policy (2015)”, featuring a chapter on Poland written by Beata Gessel – Kalinowska vel Kalisz, partner and Maciej Trąbski, attorney at GESSEL, has been nominated for the GAR AWARDS 2016 in the Best Development category. The Global Arbitration Review competition is held annually and recognises the best arbitration practitioners and organisations as well as the most important achievements and events in the field.

GESSEL’s arbitration practice led by Beata Gessel will also be participating in the next research project of the IBA Subcommittee on Recognition and Enforcement of Awards, dedicated to “Refusal of recognition and enforcement of awards under the New York Convention”.
