Sale of the Akomex Group successfully completed, coronavirus or not !

Yesterday, we celebrated the closing of the transaction in which one of our regular Clients, Highlander Partners, sold its portfolio company, the Akomex Group, to Sebastian Śliwa, the co-founder and hereuntil minority shareholder, supported by AMC Capital IV S.c.Sp., a fund advised by Mezzanine Management.

Highlander acquired a controlling interest in Akomex in 2010. GESSEL had the pleasure of advising on this transaction and, over the ensuing years, we worked with Highlander Partners and the Akomex Group on a sequence of strategic projects, including the acquisition of Druk Pak carried out in a public-to-private structure in 2014. We are happy that we had the opportunity to thus contribute to the creation of one of the largest packaging companies in Central Europe.
