UOKiK grants clearance for take-over of Rafako S.A.

GESSEL represented MS Galleon AG in proceedings before UOKiK, the Polish antitrust authority, concerning its planned take-over of Rafako S.A. and its subsidiaries. We also coordinated an associated filing to the antitrust authority in Serbia.

We are proud to have advised on another green energy project by the Sołowow group, reinforcing its position as a significant business player in implementation of the European Green Deal which aims to achieve climate neutrality of the European Union’s Member States by 2050.

Rafako S.A., previously a supplier of traditional energy solutions, has completed a restructuring process and is now seeking a new business model. The financing made available by MS Galleon will enable Rafako S.A. to explore new market opportunities while contributing to the energy transformation in Poland.
