Throughout 2011, GESSEL continued its cooperation with the Institute of Industrial Design as legal partner of the “Design Your Profit” project organised as part of the Innovative Economy operating programme.

This project has the goal of creating a professional business environment within which businesspeople and designers might cooperate with respect to industrial design applications as well as increasing innovation, strengthening the role of science in economic growth, and facilitating entry of innovative Polish products to the international market.

Dorota Bryndal, coordinator of the project on GESSEL’s part, led a series of free legal workshops for business enterprises and industrial designs, held in Wroclaw and in Warsaw. She also participated in the Gdynia Design Days’11, leading a workshop on intellectual property law.

Dorota Bryndal also co-authored the report entitled “E-Services Design. Analysis of Design of Services Provided via Electronic Channels and Perspectives for its Development in Poland”, drawn up in collaboration with the Institute of Industrial Design on instructions from the Electronic Economy Department of the Ministry of the Economy. The report analyses the needs of Polish businesses in the field in question, assesses the effectiveness of e-service design, and discusses perspectives for development.
