Right to Aid Foundation
3 September 2008 witnessed the inauguration of the Right to Aid Foundation, with GESSEL as one of the founders and one of over 30 participating law firms.
The Foundation has the mission of assisting members of the legal profession, in the broad sense of the term, who – due to various exigencies – have found themselves in need. In particular, the Foundation aims to help those who, despite difficult circumstances (such as a serious illness), are striving to return to active legal practice. The Foundation also works to the benefit of individuals who display determination in working towards completion of their law degrees and/or training articles in the face of especial financial hardship or of disability.
