GESSEL supports the Cambridge PYTHON Project – an academic entrepreneurship incubator – providing legal advice for business projects and investments. The Cambridge PYTHON Project is dedicated to initiating dialogue and cooperation between the Polish academic community (especially in the high-tech and ICT sectors) and business, fostering creativity and innovation in academic circles and propagating best practices in the fields of entrepreneurship stimulation. Inspiration for the Project lay in the experiences of Cambridge University and the “Silicon Valley” which has emerged around it thanks to the work of business and academia as two complementary elements, with science inspiring business and business commercialising scientific breakthroughs, contributing to economic growth. Cambridge PYTHON includes the “You Know, You Devise, You Win” competition, and outstanding projects benefit from the substantive and financial support of potential investors, particularly from venture capital funds.
