The book “Real Estate Due Diligence”, prepared by GESSEL’s real estate practice experts under the scientific editorship of Maciej Boryczko in cooperation with Iwona Gielo-Benza, Aleksandra Jaroszkiewicz, Dominika Ramirez Wołkiewicz, and Krzysztof Śledziński, is now available for pre-order. The publication is a comprehensive guide to the real estate due diligence process and addresses the key challenges faced by participants in real estate transactions. This is the team’s latest publication, following the books “Commercial premises lease agreement” and “Agricultural real estate transactions. A practical guide to M&A transactions”.
The new publication is based on the authors’ experience gained while advising on numerous real estate transactions for investors, entrepreneurs, and investment funds. It practically organises issues that are of key importance to the security of the investment process, from the analysis of the legal and planning status of real estate, through restrictions on trading, to tax issues and recommendations for identifying and mitigating transaction risks.
The authors focus not only on applicable legal regulations but, above all, show how to translate the results of due diligence into practical business decisions. As a result, the publication can serve as support for lawyers, investors, tax advisors, financial institution representatives, and all participants in the real estate market.
