Orlen to effectuate a cashless take-over

The Płock-based company will not spend a single złoty on its acquisition of Lotos and PGNiG, the idea being that their shareholders, by partaking in the profits of the merged conglomerate, can take home higher earnings. Yet consumers will not necessarily benefit from this merger.
