Hubert Wiśniewski

Hubert specializes in advising on contract law, development, financing and acquisition of energy and infrastructure projects (including project finance) for companies operating in the energy and chemical sectors. His experience includes negotiating EPC contracts (EPCM, LSTK), FEED contracts, negotiating long-term power sales agreements, technology purchase license agreements (under English and Welsh law) and negotiating service, supply and maintenance contracts for energy and chemical projects, as well as planning and conducting tender proceedings for major investment projects and providing ongoing legal services for such projects.

Hubert also advises clients in the regulatory area for the energy sector, including primarily issues related to functioning of the electricity and gas markets. In addition, he has advised Polish and foreign companies on regulatory issues related to investments in renewable energy sources (including photovoltaics and onshore and offshore wind farms), in particular on interconnection agreements.

Hubert has also participated in due diligence for M&A transactions involving the electricity, gas and liquid fuels sectors as well as renewable energy sources, including photovoltaics, biogas plants and onshore wind farms.

Hubert also advises – on the contracting authority as well as bidder sides – on procurement issues at every stage of the public procurement process, mainly on legal remedies, including representation of clients before the National Appeal Chamber and before the courts in the implementation of public contracts.
