Iwona specializes in providing day-to-day legal services to businesses, particularly on real estate and corporate issues. Prior to joining GESSEL, she worked with a Warsaw law firm and with the offices of French attorneys. Iwona has comprehensive experience in handling corporate processes and real estate transactions, including agricultural lands.
She works with commercial leases and drafts and negotiates lease agreements. She has worked on numerous due diligence studies of real estate and companies owning real estate and/or holding real estate in perpetual usufruct, as well as on the restructuring and liquidation of limited liability companies (especially with foreign capital). Iwona sat on the management boards of limited liability companies.

Selected projects
- Advised SAPERE Holding, a Polish family-owned investment group, on the acquisition of 100% of the shares in K2 Group, a manufacturer of automotive chemicals and car care products operating in more than 90 countries
- Advised Enterprise Investors and the remaining shareholders on the sale of 100% of the shares in Anwim S.A., owner of the MOYA fuel station network, to Stonepeak and Energy Equation Partners
- Advised the Tyrion Real Estate group on obtaining PLN 10.5 million financing for retail park projects in Lidzbark Warmiński and Bartoszyce
- Advised LUX MED on the acquisition of 100% of the shares in TMS Diagnostyka, a medical imaging company
- Advised Velvet Care, a portfolio company of global private equity investor Partners Group, on the acquisition of a 40,000 sq. m production and warehouse facility and approximately 12 hectares of land in the Sulęcin Special Economic Zone for the development of a new factory
- Advised the shareholders of Betasi sp. z o.o. on the sale of a majority stake to Spire Capital Partners, a private equity fund
- Advised LUX MED on the acquisition of the Mental Path network of seven mental health centres operating in five cities across Poland
- Advised the ArKa family foundation on the sale of a 75% stake in Centrum Medyczne Med-Gastr, a gastroenterology clinic, to private equity fund Tar Heel Capital
- Advised on real estate regulations in the transaction for acquisition by the development company Eco Classic of shares of the company I am Poznań (formerly H. Cegielski – Fabryka Silników Agregatowych i Trakcyjnych)
- Provided day-to-day services to a leading appliance/RTV/IT retail company in the process of preparing, negotiating and amending commercial leases
- Supported Luneos Green Energy sp. z o.o. in the acquisition of a 19 MW photovoltaic farm project
- Assisted in real estate issues for LGL, a company of the Lode Group, in the acquisition of approximately 90 hectares of agricultural land, and Altera, which operates the Sielanka Hotel on the Pilica River
- Participated in numerous due diligence studies (including for the transaction in which the LUX MED Group became a strategic investor in Swissmed Centrum Zdrowia and in the acquisition of St. Elisabeth’s Hospital, acquisition of companies operating retail parks, the investment of OEX S.A., a Polish provider of services and technology in the area of sales and customer service, in iPOS S.A., the investment of Enterprise Investors in Anwim S.A. operating the MOYA chain of petrol stations, the investment of Anwim S.A. in a chain of self-service gas stations under the eMila brand)
- Co-created the website dedicated to legal advice during the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020 (honoured in the 18th edition of the Ranking of Law Firmsof the daily newspaper Rzeczpospolita in the category: websites dedicated to legal advice during the epidemic)
