Karolina Borowiec is a Junior Associate in the Litigation and Special projects / Risk & Support practices at GESSEL.
She specializes in civil and commercial disputes, participating in matters at all stages of court proceedings. She supports business clients in their day-to-day legal matters, prepares legal analyses, and assists in projects involving litigation and contractual issues. Her experience includes involvement in commercial disputes of varying complexity, as well as the analysis of contractual documentation related to projects carried out across multiple markets. Her professional interests include Intellectual property law, particularly matters concerning copyright protection and industrial property rights.
She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin in 2023. In 2023, she completed the Diploma in Practical Legal English course at the Center for American Studies. Between 2024 and 2026, she completed the Legal Terminology & Communication Skills and Legal Writing & Drafting courses within the Sawicki LLB Linguistics of Law & Business programme. In 2026, she completed the WIPO Academy course “Primer on Intellectual Property” in the field of intellectual property law. She has been a trainee attorney-at-law since 2024. She is fluent in English.
